Application Application must be made to both UNC Charlotte Graduate School and Carolinas Medical Center Nurse Anesthesia Program. Interviews are held mid January, late April /early May and November. All applicants must be accepted for admission to UNC Charlotte Graduate School and the School of Nursing before consideration for entrance into the Nurse Anesthesia Program will be given. (Applications must be received and completed eight weeks before intended interview date).
Nurse anesthesia applicants holding the MSN degree will not receive a duplicate degree, but will graduate with a post-master's certificate and all requirements necessary to take the certification examination.

Scholarships The North Carolina Nurse Scholars Master's Program (M-NSP) provides scholarships, based on academic merit, evidence of leadership and professional contributions, to registered nurses who wish to pursue a master's degree in nursing. Students may obtain information and applications from the UNC Charlotte Office of Student Affairs, College of Nursing and Health Professions, or from the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority, P.O. Southeast Anesthesiology Associates offer a "Living Scholarship" to assist selected nurse anesthesia students with living expenses during the time they are enrolled in the Carolinas Medical Center Nurse Anesthesia Program/UNCC. The Scholarship is highly selective; typically only two recipients are selected per year. The scholarship has been offered since January of 2003. The maximal monthly award is $900.00 for the last 15 months of the Program (not to exceed $13,500 for the length of the program). Selection for the scholarship will occur at the end of the first year of enrollment. Scholarship award is dependent upon the availability of ongoing funding from Southeast Anesthesiology Consultants P.A.
