Carolinas HealthCare System is pleased to be your partner in stopping the flu bug in its tracks. We are monitoring outbreaks throughout the Carolinas, so you can make better informed decisions about work, school and use of healthcare facilities.
Check this site regularly for the latest information on how to protect yourself and your family from flu. We will also keep you updated on how flu may be impacting operations at CHS-affiliated hospitals, physician practices and other medical facilities.
Because of increased demand, seasonal flu shots may not be available at Carolinas HealthCare physicians' offices. CMC Rx locations in Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties will provide seasonal flu vaccine to organizations that have reserved vaccine earlier in the year.
In late October, we expect immunizations for H1N1 to be available for the general public. However, this schedule is subject to change based on supply and distribution originating from the Centers for Disease Control. Please check this website for further updates.
