Every year, two million Americans suffer traumatic brain injuries
resulting from motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, falls or other
events. The injuries that result that may or may not involve a direct
blow to the head. Mild traumatic brain injury, also known as a concussion, may
have significant persistent symptoms commonly know as Post-Concussive Syndrome.
Most individuals improve without medical attention, but others recover more
slowly, with symptoms that may have a negative impact their professional and
private lives.
