CMC Named Charlotte Area's Consumer Choice Hospital
October 22, 2009
For the 12th year, Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) received the 2009-10 Consumer Choice Award, a designation based on consumer preference that recognizes hospitals that provide high quality healthcare services. CMC was chosen from the NRC Healthcare Market Guide, a nationwide consumer healthcare profile with data that represents consumer preference surveys from more than 250,000 households.
“It’s important that consumers view our facility as one that provides uncompromising, excellent healthcare,” said Suzanne Freeman, President of CMC. “This award means so much to us because it comes from the people that we serve every day. Our employees and staff are dedicated to patient satisfaction and the Consumer Choice Award exemplifies CMC as the people’s choice for the highest quality healthcare in our community.”
The National Research Corporation has conducted an annual, national survey of consumer preferences since 1996.
